Drake – Back To Back (Meek Mill Diss) | Listen/Download

ATLANTA, GA - JUNE 20: Drake performs onstage at Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash Block Show at Phillips Arena on June 20, 2015 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Paras Griffin/Getty Images)

Just Incase YOU felt like Charged Up was not enough to do the damage, the OVO rapper Drake went straight to the booth and poured his heart out once again.. by now I’m sure you know for the why. On His new song titled “Back To Back” Drake addresses Meek first for not acting like a rapper who writes his own lyrics  “I did another one, I did another one / You still ain’t did shit about the other one,” & “I waited four days nigga, where y’all at?” . Drake clearly went in for Meek’s throat on this one too. As we wait for Meek’s response, you can listen to this new song below and tell me what you think of it, and this whole beef between these emcees by leaving your comment below.

“This for ya’ll that think that I don’t write enough / They just mad ’cause I got the Midas touch.

You Saw That Tweet?

Skuva-Kwesta

Best Outbursts from South African HipHop artists on twitter this week.

Twitter is the place where people tend to be more vocal, funny and ‘honest’ in just 140 Characters. However, some are just on twitter to troll and shit on other people 24 Seven. These are the best if not one of the interesting tweets sent by Local HipHop pioneers this week.

Off the rip, Black Moss drops some hints for the rookies out there

Maggz got me thinking He was listening to “Guluva” by Zakwe featuring Ngane, that’s my favorite song from Impande!

Ntukza is cooking his album due to drop this Year, not sure which season.

While iFani celebrated the milestone He always dreamed about of selling 20 000 copies in one day with his new album, Cassper Nyovest had a dream of filling up 20 000 people on the Coca Cola Dome, one man show.

He ended up Trending on twitter that day. Made me believe in this ‪#‎FillUpTheDome‬ shandis’ Goodluck Cass!

Maggz weighs in on the two New York Battlerap giants Charlie Clips vs Hollow Da Don battle that took place on Smack/URL stage on May 9th 2015 in New York.

Since the day it was announced that iFani has sold 20 000 copies of his latest album I Believes In Me 2nd Quadrant on its first day of release, almost everyone in the HipHop scene has either been happy for the hommie, others though were in disbelief and were left with tons of questions.
On Tuesday Night though (12/05/15), AKA shook the whole twitter up. Nothing new though, if you’ve been following the dude you’ll vouch for that. Through a series of tweets he sent (I picked a few, the hommie really went wild) AKA poured his thoughts out about iFani going Gold in One day.
The first tweet he sent was ..

Then Gang more followed

And then SizweDhlomo ..

AKA continued the show.

Ofcourse iFani had to say something..

Tumi being funny about this whole Gold situation. Haha.

Scoop also had something to say..

Redds trying to clear the air..

Rashid Kay being business minded as always about the situation. Haha.

That’s it for this week. I hope you found this piece interesting. Lookout for next week’s You Saw That Tweet. Also make sure we’re following each other on twitter ( @Iam_Ntukza ) for latest updates made here or hit the subscribe button to receive new posts on your email.

They don’t stop tweeting, they never will.

Cassper Nyovest’s Debut Album Tsholofelo Goes Platinum

tsholofelo-platinum-cassper-nyovest

Cassper Nyovest‘s name has been on the media since early last year or so none stop. Few months ago Cassper Nyovest’s debut album went gold, which ofcourse means something for Cassper and most importantly for South African HipHop in general. Yesterday though (24/04/15) WE woke up to yet another great news that Tsholofelo just went Plat. These news came after we also heard that K.O’s Skhanda Republic has done very well too as it has reached Gold too. Great news for the culture indeed. Cassper wasted no time and took the chance to thank his fans for actually supporting and purchasing his music this much.  “I’ve got the best fans in the world!!! Tomorrow we announce another milestone we managed to reach!!! Thank you.” he tweeted. As so, the hommie decided to release a platinum edition of his album, only 10 000  copies of this edition will be released. Congratulations to Cass for the milestone!

AKA and DJ Fanatic Sort out their Issues Like Grown Folks

A couple of days ago, the social networks were buzzing after RunJozi hitmaker AKA announced that him and his friend/Dj – DJ Fanatic are no longer working together. Although He didn’t mention the reason behind it, Tweeps were the first to assume that maybe Dj Fanatic played Cassper Nyovest’s music during a particular set, funny stuff. “I’m just gonna say that I wish my brother good luck and that I’ll always have his back no matter what.” AKA tweeted after saying He Just had to fire his DJ and His best friend.

Yesterday though, AKA announced that him and DJ Fanatic are back working together. “So me and my nigga @DjFanaticSA are back in business.
We’ve decided to sort our issues out like grown folks and get back to what we do best. What’s done is done. The way it was handled was far from perfect but it’s nothing that day 1 niggas can’t fix,” AKA tweeted.

He added that they both realised that while there were things that needed improvement, they were willing to work on their issues. “No use throwing away everything we’ve worked for,” AKA added.

DJ Fanatic also had something to say on his twitter page to clear the air. “All that
we have worked for can’t go down the drain over things that can be worked out.”

Whatever was the issue, I’m just glad its sorted.
