Snoop Dogg is one of the most celebrated artists in rap history and could easily rest on his incredible catalog. But the 42-year-old Long Beach rapper keeps his creative juices flowing with his new mixtape That’s My Work Vol. 3. The 20-song project is hosted by DJ Drama and includes guest appearances from some of Snoop’s closest friends, who also happen to be pretty damn good rappers too. Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Warren G, and more pop up, with early favorites from That’s My Work Vol. 3 like “Feel Like Heaven” and “Never Had It Like This.” The project also includes the recently released “What’s Your Pleasure” and “Cadillacs.”
After over a year of craft, exploring, learning and endless music making, KZN born rapper Rez Proph together with Soul Life producer Thulz have released a 6 track EP with records that they felt will not make it into their upcoming album FALA FASASI [For As Long As Flesh And Soul Are Still Intact] – the release date for this project is still to be confirmed.
Rez explains that: “Sometimes you have an idea for a song and you put it down, but when you listen to it in the grand scheme of what you’re trying to achieve or what you want your project to sound like, the song might just not gel as well as you imagined, and may even F#ck with the cohesiveness of the project as a whole, even if it’s a great song.” So make no mistake, the reason these songs did not make the cut is not because they are not good enough.
In the mean time, while we wait for the FaLa FASASI project, let’s feast on this EP. Definitely worth your time.

After the release of Steve Skekana , Ltido’s song which features Cassper Nyovest, Maggz & Ma E, there’s been another talk that one rapper is missing on that song! That’s iFani. On a live interview on UkhoziFm’s CleverUngaGiveUp feature yesterday (Friday 21 Feb) iFani explained the misunderstandings that happened. Ltido approached the dude for a feature, which ofcourse iFani accepted it but at that moment He couldn’t lace his 16 because He had a throat infection. He requested they should shoot the video, which he can rap his verse on then later record the song when his voice is fully recovered.
Then Baam! The remix is released with no verse from iFani without Ltido saying a word to him. However, by then iFani had his verse written and recorded, so he decided to drop His verse and let the people hear how it is anyway. Don’t worry though, He (iFani) mentioned and made it clear that there is no beef between him and Ltido, he respects an artists decision of picking whoever feels like working with. Download this verse and leave comments of what you think of it.
Just recently, LTido dropped a remix of the song that made a lot of buzz last year, Steve Kekana. The remix features Maggz, MA E & Cassper Nyovest. If you’ve been away from the Socials for a sec have no worries, hit the jump check it out already.
